Hello!
I'm Mohamed Dardouri, an IT entrepreneur and the CEO & Co-Founder of Mahd.Group. With a deep passion for technology and innovation, I have dedicated my career to building and leading successful ventures in the tech industry.
Professional Journey:
I currently lead Mahd.Group, where we maintain the Tayara Group codebase and invest in groundbreaking platforms such as Zayn a perfectly tuned booking & AI-based marketing system for Beauty centers. Automato, an AI-based customer retention platform, and Sawi, a micro-ERP system. We also successfully delivered BitMal platform in Saudi Arabia.
Before Mahd.Group, I served as the CTO at Tayara Group, the national leader in online classified advertisements, where I spearheaded technical advancements and architectural overhauls. At Quicktext, the world leader in AI-based chatbot messaging for hotels, I led the technical team to meet the complex requirements of global hotel groups, implemented robust CI/CD processes and Kubernetes migrations and take the AI engine to the next level for a perfect customer experience. My tenure at Astrolab Agency involved transforming company workflows to Extreme Programming methodologies and contributing to the Free Software community.
Technical Expertise:
My technical skill set is broad and deep, covering areas such as:
- Project Management: Balancing quality, cost, and timely delivery.
- Team Leadership: Fostering team integration, efficiency, and motivation.
- Agile Methodologies: Proficient in SCRUM and continuous project growth.
- Programming Languages: Expertise in Rust, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, PHP, and VB.net.
- DevSecOps and CI/CD: Extensive experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and system administration (Linux, Arch, Fedora).
- Neural Networks: Working knowledge of DLib, TensorFlow, Keras, and Torch.
Educational Background:
I hold a degree in Software Engineering from the International Multidisciplinary School of Sousse, complemented by preparatory courses at the same institution and initial studies at the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Mathematics of Monastir.
Community and Contributions:
Outside of my professional work, I am actively involved in community and social initiatives. As Vice President of "ActionPlus" and a member of "CLibre" and "Univers Libre," I have organized cultural and tech events, including the "Festival Numérique Libre" and hosting Richard Stallman in Tunisia. I have also contributed to open-source projects, such as the IoSync module for NodeJS and enhancements to Rust's MongoDB driver adapter.
Personal Projects and Hobbies:
I enjoy engaging in various tech projects and experiments, from developing a real-time video-surveillance analysis platform to creating a micro operating system using Intel’s 8086 assembly language. My curiosity also extends to building personal servers.
